Richard Williams’ The Thief and the Cobbler (also named The Princess and the Cobbler) was first released on September 23, 1993.
Williams was unable to complete the film on time and it was given to another team to finish. The end result was very different from his original intent. The later made Recobbled Cut is much closer to his original vision for the film. (x)
